Marjan truly has lived an interesting life, as he reveals in this book. How brave he is to have followed his guidance away from the darkness and into the light of Christ. Truly he was guided along the way, the first for which the last was done. The Lord works wonders in amazing ways and it’s such a blessing Marjan lived through this to tell the ultimate story of being saved. I’m sure this book is an inspiration to others who find themselves on a dark path in life.

I really enjoyed this book. I appreciated how the author told the story through several generations. His writing was informative and action packed. It was hard to believe that he survived what he went through in his life. It would be interesting to see his life through his families eyes in a sequel. I look forward to sharing it with others and also listening to the audio book on my next road trip.

600 Devils will pull you into an amazing but true life story which covers all the good and bad facets of a global life of crime and then the desperate search for redemption of the Author. It is James Bond, Jack Ryan and the Joker all wrapped into one. Every page pulls you deeper into the thrilling but unfulfilling life of crime and its consequences and the turmoil it brings.
If you only read one book this year > this should be it. J. Patterson

“Fasting Firepower” is a captivating and well-researched exploration of fasting, encompassing its historical, spiritual, and health significance across diverse cultures and time periods. The book highlights fasting as a common practice for achieving spiritual growth, reaping health benefits, and as a tool employed by renowned historical figures, such as Michelangelo and Mahatma Gandhi.
My biggest take-away was the extraordinary amounts of toxins our government approves of for our dietary intake. I have known about preservatives, flavor extenders, color modifiers etc. for a long time, but understanding their presence and grasping the short-term and long-term effects of them is a different story. Thank you FDA. Thank you WHO – your scientists have again surpassed all understanding of the meaning of incompetence, collusion, corruption and complicity in the poisoning of the world.

What distinguishes this book is its seamless integration of historical anecdotes and contemporary evidence, emphasizing the potential health and spiritual advantages of fasting. The narrative is so engrossing that readers will feel on the cusp of unlocking the hidden potential and power of this ancient practice. The fundamental question raised by the book is profound: could this ancient wisdom be the key to a healthier, more enlightened life for all?

In conclusion, “Fasting Firepower” is a must-read for those intrigued by the multifaceted nature of fasting. It not only educates and engages but also challenges readers to reevaluate the relevance of this age-old practice in our modern world. Highly recommended, it offers a fascinating journey through history and underscores the profound impact of fasting on humanity. If for no other reason than to extend one’s life – this book should be read and the practice of periodic fasting implemented. As for me and my house, we will serve less saccharin, TBHQ and dyes.
